maybe I'll actually be coherent!
Mar. 4th, 2005 09:13 pmAs opposed to the last entry, maybe this one will be coherent and consist of less than 50% swear words. especially no more using the active tense and a noun (and the implied tense, ie "you fucking fuck").
However there will probably be more angst and self-doubt in this entry.
It seems it doesn't matter what I do. For the first time in my goddamn life I'm actually pulling straight As (with the possible exception of Photography). I'm being responsible and taking control of my own damn future. I was pretty proud of myself - inside of four days I went from going "wait, there're NIN shows scheduled for the Northeast now?" to "Okay, we'll go to Toronto at this time, stay here, and this is who's sleeping here and I should probably get Liam's mobile, just in case..." At the same time, in this 4-day interrim, I've written up a paper on citizenship, made a PowerPoint of same, written up the article abotu Misha from the interview, and gotten about two more pages of my comic done. Oh! And I've found time to think of and illustrate ideas for about 4 themes from Senior Ball!
IE - I've struck some kind of balance. I'm getting everything done, with time to spare for another roleplay every week! In the words of the Smiths: "please, please, please, Let me Get what I want, Lord knows It would be the First time!"
And then God said ... NO!
Ugh, literally I was there and it was telling me at 5:01 there were no tickets. Liam and Alex and Simon (and presumably Luke) all had the same goddamn problem. Yyyyyyeah. Therefore, I want to sharpen both ends of a stick and run off to collect Trent Reznor's head. Small venue shows make Chibi Cthulu sad. :(
